- Challenging Behavioral Specialist Recognizing that behavior is a form of communication and utilizing person-centered approaches best equips caregivers, as well as first responders, medical personnel and law enforcement, to respond appropriately to people living with dementia. Available Virtual. Successful participants will be added to the Dementia Registry.
- Blue Card (Crisis Prevention Intervention CPI) Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (NCI) training is perfect for primary caregivers, educators and human service professionals who directly intervene in crisis situations, teaching staff de-escalation techniques as well as restrictive and nonrestrictive interventions. Available as blended learning. Successful participants will receive their blue card.
- CBRF Training Assisted Livings in Wisconsin regulated by the DHS is required to complete at least 15 hours initially and 8 hours annually of continuing education that includes State approved CBRF Standard Precautions, Fire Safety, First & Choking and Medication Administration.
The standardized training material is the curriculum approved by the Wisconsin Department of Health Services to meet the requirement for courses that will be provided. Participants who successfully complete the selected courses will be added to the Wisconsin Community-Based Care and Treatment Training Registry. Available as blended learning.
